“Prey for the Poor” College Tour

Chicago emcee, public speaker and JAMLA recording artist Add-2 is preparing for the release of his upcoming album “Prey For The Poor” as well as a college tour to coincide with the theme of the album. The goal of the tour will be set up slightly different from most musical tours. Add-2 will be looking to be involved with the improvement of each of the communities he performs in and will join in with the students/special interest groups on campus to directly help a cause of their choosing. By taking a hands-on approach we are hoping Add-2 can help inspire the students to take more initiative in improving their surroundings and seeing the power in uniting for a common cause. After School Program

Add-2 has teamed up with the Guitars Over Guns Organization and Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church to create a music based after school program in Bronzeville on Chicago's south side.  This program aims to create a safe haven for Chicago inner city youth who are prime targets for gang activity, random acts of violence and are in need of positive influences. We seek to boost their self- confidence, improve school attendance/performance, promote positive interaction with their communities and create long lasting uplifting relationships through mentoring and creative expression.
